Welcome

TO THE TEXAS STRIPER ASSOCIATION (TSA). The Texas Striper Association was established 20 years ago in 1990. The Texas Striper Association will be hosting 7 Striper tournaments in 2010. The tournaments will be on many of the area lakes, Possum Kingdom, Texoma, Lake Whitney, Lake Tawakoni, Lake Belton and Lake Lewisville. Striper Enthusiasts can fish all of the tournaments or just fish tournaments that are local to them. The tournaments are open to both TSA members and non-members, so please feel free to come and fish in any tournament(s) you want.

Congratulations to Team Piggy Perch for winning The 2009 TSA Team Of The Year! Team Piggy Perch sure knows how to catch Stripers

Not a bad day for Team Piggy Perch on Lake Texoma. The biggest one (in the middle) was around 17 pounds with the smaller ones being 10 -12 pounds. I think Team Piggy Perch caught 6 or 7 stripers over 10 pounds that day!

For those of you who are experienced or accomplished Striper Fishermen, the TSA is a great place to meet others who share your passion for Striper fishing, learn new techniques and to share your experiences.

For those of you who are new to striper fishing, the TSA is a great place to learn how to catch stripers. All of the TSA Members are more than willing to answer any questions you might have, ranging from how and where to catch shad to what is the best fishing tackle to use for catching Stripers.

So new or experienced come join us for another great year of TSA Striper Tournaments! The first Striper Tournament is on Possum Kingdom Lake, January 16, 2010. Go to Schedule tab to view full 2010 schedule.
